How does tracking paid + unpaid (AP) protect my profit?

What counts as an active project?
A project you're writing to this month — adding receipts, budgets, or vendors. Archive a finished job and its slot frees up at no charge; reactivate it anytime to pick it back up.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Upgrades are prorated and take effect right away; downgrades take effect at your next billing period — you keep your current plan's capacity until then.
What's your refund policy?
Monthly plans aren't refundable, but you can cancel and keep access through the end of your billing period. Annual plans have a 14-day cooling-off period — available until you've made substantial use of the service (creating a project and uploading several receipts through our AI engine). What happens to my data if I cancel?
Nothing is deleted. When you cancel, your projects are locked at the end of your billing period — kept and fully retained, but no longer open to read until you resubscribe. Come back anytime and everything is restored.
Can I export my data?
Yes — anytime your subscription is active. One tap gives you a clean, structured CSV that imports into mainstream accounting software. You can also export the original invoice files automatically renamed to a consistent date_amount_vendor_invoice# format — so the pile of mismatched 'scan001.pdf' files your suppliers send becomes a clean, searchable record with no manual renaming. No lock-in.
Will BuildMind keep my receipts audit-ready?
Yes — receipts are stored digitally and traceable, so your records stay audit-ready. (This isn't tax advice; confirm filings with your accountant.)
